It isn’t about The Gift

When the holidays come around, it’s nice to both give and receive tokens of appreciate from one another, but remember that it isn’t about the gift. It’s about showing and telling others they are appreciated by you. Just as with family, we enjoy being together and sharing in each other’s company more than we do from any material things that anyone may provide. Even when on hard times, I enjoyed just being with my family more than I did anything they could give me otherwise. Let our hearts and minds open and be there for our friends as we receive and give our gift of friendship and camaraderie.

That is what makes for a Happy Holiday!
