Rhythm & Roots Reunion
The Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion festival is this weekend in Bristol TN/VA. The weather is going to be perfect. The skies will be sunny and the temperatures will be in the low to mid-80’s for the three day event.
The annual music festival started in 2001 and has been affiliated with the Birthplace of Country Music Museum since 2012.
Visitors coming from outside the region have a major financial impact on the twin cities, as it hosts well over 100 bands across 20 stages in downtown Bristol. Attendance has grown to about 45,000 according to the BCM website. The Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion was named one of Rolling Stone’s “Top 20 Tours and Festivals”, and has won a Grand Pinnacle Award from the International Festival and Events Association.
The gates open at 3pm today (Friday). There will be plenty of food and craft vendors on hand, in addition the many fine stores in downtown Bristol that are sure to add to your entertainment experience.
